Automation to create project from task using blueprint, with original task name
I have a request form to create what we call a project stub. It is just a custom item type based on a task. As these stubs come in, they will be reviewed. Once the stub is approved we change the value of a custom field. I am trying to create an automation to create a project using a blueprint once this custom field is changed. The problem I'm running into is that you have to specify the project name. I want the new project to simply carry on the name of the task but this does not seem to be an option.
Thank you for your feedback, Chris DeFelice
You've highlighted a great opportunity: refining the process to have the new project—created from a task using a blueprint—automatically inherit the task name instead of having to specify it every time.
I've shared this with the team and will keep you in the loop if there are any updates. 😊

I would love to know when this is introduced, as I'm looking to do something similar

Has any success been made to accomplish this through automation? I am looking for this exact solution now as well.
