Duplicate a question in a request form
I just spent a long time fixing up a question that I need to repeat ten times, and can't find a way to duplicate itย ๐ฃ
I need the team to be able to request up to ten deliverables. My custom field is a single select (20 options), and based on what they pick for each deliverable, the branching creates a different task (and sub-tasks) within the new project.
If I can't duplicate the question, I assume I have to go ahead and stare at the screen for many hours, repeating the work when all I really need to achieve is changing the question names from 'Deliverable 1' to 'Deliverable 2' and so on. Please someone, tell me I missed a 3 dot menu or something ๐ณ
Stephanie Kirk - I'd love to say you missed something, but I cannot find a way to duplicate questions easily.ย
I would like to learn more about how you are using the request form to create multiple subtasks. I have a space I'm designing at the moment to start an engineering process with multiple deliverables assigned to different people. My first attempt was to use a multi-select question to choose which deliverables apply, then create subtasks for each one that is checked.ย
Oooooh Mike Fank you win the day, thank you. I figured if it was multiple select I wouldn't be able to create subtasks from it, I should have fully tested it. We both need to do that! I have a blue print for the project, then separate blueprints for each task type. When the deliverable type is selected it will add those subtasks to the project and then assign the effort and person etc to each. I'm so glad I asked!ย
EDIT Mike Fank. They will need to request multiples of the same deliverable......
I am back to where I was but it was a great feeling for a few minutes, to think that was resolved.ย
Hi folks! It's not currently possible to duplicate questions in request forms, I'd recommend upvoting this Product Feedback post and add your feedback there as well for visibility.ย
