Currently the Gantt Chart is colour-coded according to item 'Status'. It would be very useful to colour code by project (e.g. Tasks on the Gantt Chart belonging to Project 1 come up as Blue; Project 2 as Red; Project 3 as Green etc)

@... The best outcome would also allow us to link the colors on the gantt chart to any field we choose. For example, I'd like to do this by assignee (red for Bob, blue for Mary, etc.) so that the gantt chart is color coded by team member.

This would be an amazing help. I need to identify a set of tasks that will be monitored by a 3rd party. Being able to colour something to show this would be really useful.
I really wanted to love Wrike and switch over, but the lack of this feature is a deal breaker for us. Is there a timeline for when this would be available?

Also it would be useful to colour code or group by department or any of the custom fields to give a swimlane anything to help navigate the gantt more easily.
