Automatically
short question:
How do we get that the tasks also have the status Completed when I set the project to Completed?
I currently have an automatic in it, where the system does the following.
The status of the project changes to Done and the project is moved to the archive.
But I would like him to still make the tasks in this step done.
Not that there are projects in the archive that have been completed but still have open tasks.
Hi Boris Engelfried, welcome to the Community 👋
It's not currently possible to change tasks' statuses automatically once you change the status of a project. I'd recommend you to also share your feedback in this very similar thread and upvote (= like) the main post there.
Our Product team is aware of this feedback, and if we have any news about this suggestion in the future, we'll make sure to let you know here in the Community. Thank you for posting!

Boris Engelfried as we know that suggestions can take long I recommend a work around (we are using):
- when completing a project it is moved via automation to archive, so all tasks are also in that location and we diconnect everything to the old space
- we have a second automation rule: if any active task is in archive the task creator and assignee and also a Wrike champion are getting an @-mention and are informed that this task has to be completed.
- furthermore we generate an automated task for an admin that the sharing of this project has to be changed to read only for all users except admins (also a thing which can not be done via automation unfortunately)
So unfortunately not really automated but a work around to keep things running with too much hand-work
