Currently, as far as I know, tasks can be related in one of the following ways:
- task-subtask relationship,
- previous-next relationship and
- linking to a task in the description or comment from another for everything else.
What I don't like about the last point is that there's no automatic back-linking from the targeted task. And if you'd introduced that, it's not clear where those back-links should be presented.
A very easy way of doing this is that a Wrike bot posts a comment on the target task linking it back, possibly quoting the paragraph that contained the original link. That would already be very helpful.
I still wonder whether it wouldn't be beneficial to have such related tasks be displayed similar to how subtasks are displayed at the top above the description. This would be extremely convenient for the "is duplicate" relationship that one often has in case of bug reports in software.
