Wrike Memory Issues

Anyone else opening the wrike desktop app and getting 7+ processes running at the same time? The biggest issue I have is that he processes don't go away after you close Wrike. Many stick around and I have to manually close them.

Hi Michael! That doesn't sound right. I'm going to create a ticket and send this to our technical team so they could take a closer look at the processes in question. Thanks for writing in!

Yes! I thought I was the only one in my work environment. But this significantly impacts my PC's performance. Wrike will open several tasks, and even upon Exit, multiple tasks continue running. I need to go to Task Manager, Kill all Wrike processes, before I can open the app back up again. It has been this way since I began using it in October of 2017.

I'll add a bit to this - I was just wondering why my PC started running the fans more than usual, and found the Wrike app to run 7 processes, and use 700-900 MB memory... clearly ranking as the top memory user on my system right now. Now - i have 32GB available on my laptop, so not really an issue, but I can see users in my company would be struggling with this.

I tried opening Wrike in Google Chrome - that drove Chrome to ~550MB memory usage, so lower than the Wrike for desktop app...

Are you trying to bring the memory usage down?

@Lisa, well - no, I just gave my curious input - I hope that you are actively working to get Wrike to work at minimum CPU and Memory usage - but really don't want to raise a ticket to do so. I'll get to that, if this somehow starts affecting our users. This was meant as a helping comment from my side so far.

I am also getting a number of wrike processes in parallel with many of them having large memory usage (1.3GB, 984 MB, etc.)  See picture below.

On restart of the application the memory usage did decrease.

It was suggested to turn off fast loading if memory usage is an issue.  https://take.ms/Azb05

It appears the large memory use is by design.  Thanks.
