Project/Folder Filter Options – Why people really need it
Dear Product Team,
I guess nothing happened for last 6 months since this post (https://help.wrike.com/hc/ru/community/posts/115000080409-Add-Folder-Filter-Option), so I would like to share my company needs and experience.
We have a lot of different active events at the same time (projects), we have a lot different departments (folders) and hundreds of tasks overall.
The only way managers can handle all this mess is because of table view mode. But here we have one big issue.
Just for example, here you can see some active events (HoTS Western Clash, ROG Masters, etc.) and tasks:
As you see in this example, we use Graphics/Logistics/Cons tags for some tasks, so we can filter it. We can understand how many "Graphics" tasks we have in each project.
BUT!
Our designers from their department folder simply don't have such an opportunity, they CAN'T understand what is going on overall, it's just a list of "some" tasks from their view:
It's just a mess for them, because they also have some a lot of random tasks NOT connected with any big projects.
So it will be extremely useful if you add such project/folders.
Kind regards.
Hi Valentin! Thanks so much for the effort you put into sharing this additional info. I think users voting for that post would be interested in seeing what you have to say here - would you like me to help with adding a link to your post from the original one?
Being able to filter based on Project/Folder attributes would be incredibly helpful and seems to me like it should have been basic functionality.
For example, I should be able to filter a folder, that contains many projects, by Status (outside of a report) and still be able to drill into these projects and view the project tasks.
