Hi Scott! Great news - we have recently released the functionality, which should help to trigger @mentions via API. In order to add @mention, you would need to initiate POST request as described here, using the following syntax for 'text' parameter:

<a class="stream-user-id avatar" rel="userID">@Username</a>

Please find the related documentation here

Pavel, is that only for Tasks, or can we do it for Folders, as well?

And is there a way to do it with the actual User ID, or does it have to be done by name?

UPDATE: Nevermind. "Yes" is the answer. But the API page you mentioned does imply that it's for tasks only.

Can you mention a group like this?

Hi Ivan Matosyan 👋 I don't see this as one of the options in the Group methods in the documentation, but I'm not an API expert, so please let me know if you'd like me to ask the Support team to reach out to you! 🙋

Good morning Guys

but it is not working 100% or me.
Do we need to convert the user ID? because I am using the user id that I got by v4/users/{userId}

Stranger, because when I expect from the developer too, the real userId is totally different the user ID. check screenshot

Real userID, bu put manually.

userId,but by api
