Visual Stuido TFS integration with Wrike
Does anyone know if this is being worked on? I found a few 3rd party companies that do this, however I would like to know if this is in the works before spending the money on another application.

Hi there Chris! Thanks for posting your question to the API Community! :)
We don't have Visual Studio TFS integration in our short-term plans. Although I'm curious to learn more about your use case. How are you going to use the integration? This will help me understand your need better and pass it along to our Product Team.
Also, do you mind sharing here what 3rd party solutions that support this integration have you found so far?
I'm looking for that solution too.
Hey Eyal! Could you please share more details on what's your team use case here?
I'd really like to go a head and test Wrike for my org BUT: IT which is a major stakeholder and partner uses TFS - the chances of them switching to Write are not high and could be a showstopper. Other than that - Product, Projects, Content and marketing are IN.
I would also like to see a solution for this need.
The simplest use case I can illustrate is the ability to create Features, User Stories, Tasks and Bugs in TFS from Wrike. Additionally, it would be ideal for the integration to be reciprocal, with creation of the same items in TFS automatically creates Folders, Projects and Tasks in Wrike. Communication/collaboration and things like design/asset reviews could happen all in Wrike, but code reviews and such could happen in TFS/VS and potentially documented in Wrike, which would be great as well.
Hi Serge,
Thank you for your response.
We decided to simplify the issue and use Wrike by migrating the tasks from TFS manually. This was a pain but we did it. We set it up as close to TFS as we could.
I have to agree with the post from Phillipp Batallia:

What he said is exactly what we would like to see as well.
Also adding to your question, the app that I was using for the 3rd party integration was a company called cloudpipes.
They have a nice API that allowed the functionality for TFS to communicate to Wrike for new task creation and updates to tasks in TFS to reflect in Wrike.
Their customer service was amazing as well, they can go into the back end and set up all the calls needed for your needs.
@Eyal, I'm really glad to hear that other departments are ready to dive in. :) As for your IT department, did they have a chance to take a look at our open API which allows to link both applications together? Or at the amazing Cloudpipes connector app Chris referred to above?
Hey @Philipp, thanks so much for sharing your use case! I've forwarded the details to our Product Team.
@Chris, wow! That indeed looks like an awesome tool to connect Wrike with other apps and I hope other users will find it useful too. :) Thanks a ton for sharing! I'm eager to learn what purpose are you planning to use the integration for?
@Chris, sorry for the confusion! I just realized you have already replied to my question. :) Thanks for sharing the use case, it's really interesting!
Just to let everyone know I have built a basic TFS -> Wrike updater that posts commit messages directly to wrike Tasks, and also adds the commit/changeset ID as a custom field. The code is available here: https://github.com/rocklan/tfs-wrike-updater/
There is also TFS integration via an online integrator called Zapier.

It looks quite useful. I have not used it yet, I am trialing Wrike but my company is a Microsoft shop and this kind of integration should at least mean I can use Wrike as an extension to TFS.
