I want custom backgrounds

Hi Nick, I really love having the custom backgrounds too, it would be great to see more options. We'll make sure to pass this feedback along to our Product Managers. 

P.S. You're right, 2012 is ready to have it's 5-year reunion. 

I agree...Plain or a purple leopard are the only options. Would be cool to allow any image as well as ability to insert hex codes for custom color options

Agreed, the leopard print shouldn't be the only custom option. I had a very emotionally scaring experience once with a leopard and am reminded of it every time I see that pattern. 

It was 1994, and I was assaulted by a crazed, wild, sunglass wearing.. no i'm thinking of a cheetah. It was chester the cheeto cheeta.

@Richard, oh no! Thank you for sharing that experience. I can only imagine how overwhelming it must be to be reminded of snacks every time you open the Workspace. Not something to be taken lightly, and a point we should definitely consider. Happy to discuss this further if it helps!

@anastasia I appreciate it, but the party themes is exactly what I was referencing. There are two. and zebra or cheetah print are not my jam lol ...having custom functionality would be much better

I have been using wrike now since start of the year. Could we please get an option to change the white background color?

Yeah.. only one theme is just not enough for such an expensive service. I want to choose from at least 10 different themes. --The white is really terrible. Hurts my eyes!

Good news! You now have the option of multiple themes in your Workspace. Check out this post for more info and let us know there what you think 👍

this is a step in the right direction for sure... but I want to use MY OWN ART.  like myspace back in the day. I am a fan of fried shrimp.. so what if I take a sweet pic of my breakfast and I want to use it as a background that day to show my love of fried shrimp with a little lemon juice on them.  what do you have against that? you don't like fried shrimp?

It's less about the (tasty) shrimp and more about the implementation of such functionality and it's possible effects on other functions in Wrike. You're right, this is a step in the right direction and our team is keeping a close watch on the Community for feedback just like this, so thank you!

Ps. I think it's paramount that I make it clear we have nothing against shrimp, fried or otherwise 😉

It's a great start, Stephen, but most of the working area of the desktop app is still in bright white 🔥👀🔥. If the Midnight theme also gave the two working panes, for example, a dark gray background color, that would complete the experience. We're at least progressing in the right direction! 👌

please please please add darker colours also in the working panes, large monitors are glaringly white and very hard to work on

It would be great to be able to customise the themes - add larger logo spaces, and set the workspace to suit your organisations' brand.

It's been quite some time since some new backgrounds have come out. Any ideas when we can have some fresh designs for backgrounds? I'm in Wrike 8 hours a day and it does help.

As a creative professional the small sample size of theme options is underwhelming. I wish I could pick something more inspiring. Also, there are not many masculine options. Flowers & animal prints don't really help inspire me. Is this still off the table for the development team? For all the functionality and customization, it's hard to imagine that custom themes are so limited. Trello is free and has this functionality.
