Here I just wanted to clarify a little bit. Currently, the Workspace has two search options: task search and Folder/Project search. The task search field is located at the top of the Workspace, and the Folder/Project search field is located in the left-hand Navigation panel. Were you looking to see all search results unified in one search field?

You are right, the intent of this is for the main search to show both tasks and folders. The functionality exists near the folder view, but most people in our company don't know that it exists. Where as all of them use the top search. So it's just an improvement to UI intuitiveness.

Episode 1, Frustrating search using Wrike:
1) Search in the top bar, if result is "no result found", review if it was well writen, think how another collaborator would have entered the information, try the search again, note: keep track of the search terms since they will be usefull in the future... if there is no positive search result
2) try in the alternative search for the Folder title, look for the notes where we kept track of the search terms with no result in the step 1, and try again with each one....
This could be so easy, why not make a universal SEARCH field!, give the search result in a clasification of Folder title / Project title / Content ...

I have just realised that there is a new "labs" feature with Universal Search.

I have just tested it and it works as usual for tasks, but also for project/folders names, descriptions and comments.
Thanks for sharing Miquel! Would love to hear any Feedback you have about this new search. I love it!
