Can you colour in tasks in the gantt chart?

Tasks on Gantt Chart are color-coded based on their statuses. For example, if you have a custom workflow where you set different colors for different statuses, those colors will be shown for tasks on the Gantt Chart. Please let me know if you have any further questions, I'll be happy to help 🙂

Would want the color in the tasks section side as well. How is that done?

Hi Isaac Mantey, welcome to the Community! Thank you for your comment. You can see the color assigned to your tasks in the "Status" column:

If you don't see this column, you can choose to display it by clicking on the gear icon on the right-top of the table, and selecting it:

Is there a way to coulour code tasks as a group ? ie. 3 related tasks are green, another independent 3 are purple

It’s possible to color code tasks through custom workflows and statuses. You can create specific statuses with different colors, which will be reflected in the Gantt Chart and other views. For example, you can create a custom status named "Group A" with a green color and another named "Group B" with a purple color. Assign these statuses to the tasks you want to group by color, I’m attaching screenshots below for your reference 👇
