Hello all!
As everyone I guess, we are using wrike in a way that fits our operation best. So the way we setup a space, workflow, folder structure, projects, custom fields is tailored to our specific needs.
Being a digital agency, when we onboard a new client we need to quickly create a new space - yet it is currently very tedious.
The request is very simple > we need to be able to duplicate a space or be able to setup a use case of our own so we can use to quickly setup a space exactly how we want it.
would anyone else need that?
I would use a duplicate space feature. I have private spaces for my direct reports, using the weekly to-do template with extensive modifications (automation, views, dashboard widgets, etc). Each time I need a new space for a new direct report, I have to create the space from the weekly to-do template.

Is there any chance that it would be implemented??
We started using Wrike (Pinnacle) 1-2 months ago (we are at the deployment stage) after we will integrate it for 70+ users (for the first year and then 50 extra) honestly I am afraid our functional users won't be happy with Wrike without this function cause it is easier just to copy Excel templates and fill them rather than to create from scratch customized spaces each time. Most companies do not have Globally recognized document structures. It should be possible either to save space as a template for internal users or duplicate. Most previous tools that we used had this feature.
As I see this user feedback was given 3 years ago (November 26, 2021) I think this couldn't be so hard.ย
Also, 69 votes are not a small amount for user requests probably it should be acknowledgedย

Is there any progress on this feature? Seems like after two years of requests it could have been accomplished. Sounds like it is a feature that will not be added based on the amount of time that has elapsed, that's unfortunate, I could use it right now as well.

I personally believe that Duplicating a Space is a fundamental/basic feature requirements for most users and surprisingly not supported by Wrike. Tools like Wrike only become brilliant (compared to average) when we can copy our (very) time consuming customisations in Spaces. I unfortunately skip Wrike on a regular basis, and never really bring Wrike into my daily project management, as it in the end becomes easier to use other tools. Same goes with customers of mine, who has the same experience in getting thrilled/existed first time they use Wrike, but loose "their breath", when trying to replicate what they already have worked on.ย
Coming back again to comment on Javidan Mehdiyev's post.ย I will never be able to get more adoption of the tool without having the ability to duplicate spaces.ย People will continue to use Google/Excel as a project tracker instead of developing their own spaces for internal projects.ย ย

As a multinational company, we want to standarize spaces, views and dashboards. Right now - unfortunately - Wrike's flexibility and ease of use is getting in our way. Copying complete spaces would help us a lot.ย

a needed alternative would be to host a sandbox environment for enterprise users. that or space duplication gives a workaround for the delicate balance of working spaces in need of dramatic changes or solutions one might want to explore within them

I see duplicating spaces as a useful feature. It seems like many people have been requesting it for years. How many more votes are needed to make it happen? Just upvoted it!
