Nested Project Reports
It looks like you have a hierarchical report view for tasks, but not for projects. We nest media projects inside of larger client projects, and would like to present that in reports in a nested fashion so that it's easier to consume.
Thank you for reaching out Will Kerr 😊 It should be possible to create a report based on projects and then group them by project/folder to be able to see nested projects:
Please let me know if that helps!

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for the information. Where that does seem great for reducing clutter, it also reduces the information that we need, as in your example, and in our testing, if a project is nested inside another project, the grouping gets rid of all of the status, and custom field data that we want included in the report. We group by a custom field called Project Type, and if we add the Project/Folder grouping, we can no longer see the data we need for the main project.
Will Kerr Maybe I misunderstand, but the custom field values can be visible on reports regardless of the grouping type.

Hi Lisa
Yes, custom field values can be visible on reports, but if a project acts as a grouping item, those values are no longer displayed and are replaced by just grey coloring to denote the group. Honestly, if that line also included the information from the custom fields, it would be much more useful.
Thanks a lot for clarifying Will Kerr! Your feedback is passed on to the Product team 👍
