Request Form Link
Is there a way to grab a link to a request form to place within a task in Wrike? It is just for internal users so I would prefer not to enable the external link but maybe that is the only way?

Hey Stephanie,
By internal, do you mean that only Wrike users will need the form? (I'm asking because not everyone in my organization uses Wrike, so we call them internal but they're technically external because we use that link.)
If it's just for your Wrike users, the big green PLUS button at the top of the workspace will actually allow you to do this! Click on it and select "Request" and all of your forms should be listed.
I hope that helps! Let me know if it doesn't. 😊
I agree with Anna that this is the best way to get your users and collaborators to access request forms. I am intrigued however how you would use it by putting a link within a task and the user case of why you would want to do that. If you could elaborate that would be great.

Thank you both for the reply. I am referring to only users who have access to Wrike. I do know that I can direct them to the plus sign and select Request forms but that relies on including those instructions on how to get to the request forms in the description. I created a folder to store vendor contact information and created a form for users to submit new contacts on. In the folder description I typed out instructions on how to add new contacts using the form and I would have liked to just linked to it in my sentence "Complete the Vendor Referral Form" instead of having to say complete the form found in the request forms list (and then tell them how to get to the list).
In that case, I think the external link is your best option. You would just want to make sure you communicate with your team that it's for internal use only and not to be shared with anyone outside your team.
Agreed. Cool way to use the task as a procedure good luck with it.
I was wondering same thing. This is what I figured out.
The Request Form is a link. Open the Request Form you want and copy the link from the browser address bar.
Go to the task you want to put it in and select the "link icon" from the tool bar.
You can then give the link a name like " CLICK HERE" and it will take user to the Request Form.
I used it to list several Request Forms in a recurring task so the workflow was seamless as they went through a checklist of items like a decision tree.
With this method you don't have to activate the external link function of the Request Form.
