Work load

I have a single task assigned to 2 people (Frank and Robert). The task's deadline is 10 working days. The task will be completed in 100 hours (80 hours by Frank, 20 hours by Robert). Currently, if on the task I set the workload of 100 hours (flexible), Wrike sets 5 work hours per day, both for Frank and Robert. Instead, Frank should work for 8 hours per day, and Robert for two hours per day. How can I set this on the task, without manually change the number in the workload page (for every guy, and on every day)?

Hey Michele, happy to see you on the Community 🙂

When you choose the Flexible effort type, you can specify the number of hours independently for each assignee and working day and then edit effort from the Task View, Workload Chart, Table View and Gantt Chart.

Hope this helps 🙌

Hi Lisa, see this screenshot: I would like to edit the numbers shown by the red arrow, directly from this page. Instead they seems to be in "read only" mode.

I too would love to see the same function that Michele is requesting!

Specifying the number of hours independently for each assignee for each day is only helpful for short term tasks that do not require a large amount of hours and do not involve many individuals.

I would also like to see this feature enabled. We currently build a project estimation in excel to allocate hours for the tasks, and most often there is an unequal split if there are more than 1 resource estimated.

What I do now as a workaround is assign the resources to the task, total the number of hours, estimate effort using "Basic" mode, then set to "Flexible" and go to the workload chart to manually select each day and input the (hours estimated per resource/ # of days). Its tedious but it works for now

I would love to just be able to input a % of total hours or even x hrs/ total hours for each resource.
