How do I order/search by "recently updated"?

I have a project where new tasks get raised from a sync with external tool. Then they get moved to a folder when processed. The sync tool tells me "3 issues updated" when it runs but I cannot find which 3 because I don't see an "updated" column available in tables/lists views.

It seems I can use Stream to get an overall "what happened most recently" but I'm not sure if that's enough... maybe I need to adapt my process to Wrike is all?

Hi,

Have you tired creating a custom report for tasks? You can use custom reports to filter tasks by "last modified date", so you might be able to do some testing with that?

@John Hey! I'd also recommend using a Search command "updated: (>,<,=)YYYY-MM-DD" - it allows you to check out Tasks, Folders, and Projects updated earlier, later or on a certain date (today, this week, this month). More on Search commands on our Help Center

Please let me know if I can help you with anything else 🙂

So I can search and report based on last modified date but it's simply not available as a column? Is there a reason why, and/or a workaround like adding a custom column using this information somehow?

@John, that's right. But you can also filter by Last modified date in the Table View. You can add a Custom Field and manually enter the date in it too, that way you'll have a column with that info.

Please let me know if you want this thread to be moved to the Product Feedback section, it might be an interesting feature suggestion 👍

I have seen reference to calculated fields though not read about them. I'd wondered if that might be used to automatically put last-modified-date in some custom column.

I definitely would find the ability to treat last-updated as a first-class column as very handy, and I know our customer is used to working that way as they are terrible at tracking notifications ;) So yes please. Thanks very much.
