Adding Tasks to a Shared Classic Calendar

HI Jesse, you won't be able to add Tasks to Classic Calendar that has been shared with you. Only the person who created the Calendar can delete/edit it.

This is really an issue. The calendar view was a very useful view to share with everyone. Has anyone found an alternative ? 

Hi- Yes our team would like to collaborate on one calendar. We can collaborate on projects and tasks so why can't multiple people add to a calendar?
