Easier Project View Suggestion

We find ourselves needing a place to write notes with projects that have a high level project and subprojects/folders while still being able to look at the tasks and Gantt Chart. it would be great from a view perspective to be able to see the project and the information about the project on the left and the timeline or task view on the right. So that comments and updates can be seen on the project level while still viewing the tasks at hand. I attached what the proposed view could look like. On the left you could easily view your comments, notes, and conversations while easily viewing either the Gantt Chart, List or Table View on the right.
