Project Duration Calculation

 Hi,

I'm at the trial stage with Wrike, I've watched a few webinars so far but one key thing that we're looking to address is being able to monitor the success of the project in terms of delivery time.

So we'd like to build up a project assigning the individual tasks with estimated durations and then the system generating estimated completion date for the project. Alongside this also monitoring daily progress of whether we're on target for completion date to be met?

Any help/suggestions on this would be appreciated.

Thanks guys!

Hi Laura,

As you have tasks within the project the dates of the tasks within that project create the start and end dates of your project and should be able to give you a time frame of when things should be completed. Here is an example from one of our projects, viewing from the Table view (sensitive info removed).

But you can see here that there are no dates within the project information themselves (sensitive information removed).

If you use dependent tasks then you can set the date of your last task with the date heading of Milestone, making this the end of your project. Hope that helps.

Thanks Ryan, that's very helpful.

Is there a way in terms of visuals, a report or dashboard which allows you to check the expected deadlines against real time to understand how far away from the milestone(s) we are?

Thanks

Laura

Are you looking for a visual that shows tasks that are completed vs.tasks that are still outstanding?
