Dependencies between weekend work and non-weekend work w/ templates

Hi all, I'm designing a generic template for projects that complete 5 times per year (with unpredictable dates each year). I am trying to have a no-weekend-work task, task X, have an FS dependency on a weekend work task before it, task Y. However, whenever I copy this project to a new date to create a real project timeline task X starts before task Y ends.

If it matters, task Y and task X each have sub-tasks, and task X has sub-sub-tasks. Further, task X has a chain of tasks dependent on it which are copying just fine in relation to X.

I believe this issue may reflect a bug on the interaction of dependencies between weekend and non-weekend work. However, it is virtually impossible to have task Y not be weekend work as the startup requirements are a hard 1 calendar year (and 9 months, and 6 months) before the end of the project.

Does anyone have a work around?
