Windows desktop app crashing

When the desktop app is running and I receive a new update in my inbox, the app crashes when I try to click on the task or on my inbox, or sometimes without me doing anything at all. Despite multiple updates to the desktop client since the problem first appeared, it still happens. I've even tried a fresh reinstall of the latest version of the desktop client today, but to no avail.

Hi James, it looks like you've been through the basic troubleshooting (thanks for letting us know what you've tried, it helps so much!). I know there was a bug with the Desktop App last week, but just in case this is still an issue, I'm escalating this to our Support Team. You'll be hearing from someone really soon.

Hello,

Please fix this issue, it makes the Application Usage really annoying.

Notification -> App Crash !

Application is running on a Windows 7 desktop.

This is still an issue on our side.

Going to the file/preferences menu and disabling "Enable fast loading of new windows/tabs" does 'resolve' the issue, but I guess that is not the intention. So there does seem to be a bug...
