New Assets and Users list in Dashboard

I am working with the new Asset user types, one thing the is annoying is having to go into settings to interact with the list of assets.  I would love to have a dashboard that has the Asset list in it,  or at least someway to access the list with out going though settings.  On a broader note, being able to list users in dashbaords with their attributes would be great.
