Improving Reports: Include Meeting Notes from Task Descriptions
Hi Wrike Team,
It would be very helpful if we could include the task description column in reports.
We often need to share progress reports with external stakeholders, and we use the task description field to document the meeting agenda and discussion points. Currently, we’re copying this information into a custom field after each meeting so that it appears in the report. While this workaround functions, it’s far from ideal and quite time-consuming.
Is there any way to include the task description directly in reports, or is this something that could be considered for future development?

Upvoted! This would be incredibly useful for our enterprise as well.
Right now, we’re using a custom text field labeled “Notes” as a workaround, but it’s not ideal, it's very manual. Being able to pull in the task description—or even designated comments—as a column in Reports would allow us to capture more meaningful context, especially for meeting notes, discussion summaries, or sprint updates.
I could see this being particularly helpful for teams applying Scrum methodology, where visibility into the “why” and “what’s next” directly from the task would strengthen collaboration and sprint retrospectives.
