Board View: Option to auto-collapse empty columns
My team recently migrated our development work from Jira to Wrike. Since we don't have the ability to combine and map workflow statuses into custom statuses like Jira [related product feedback post], I collapsed several columns on the Sprint Board that aren't utilized much (but are necessary) so the team can see more of the board without having to scroll to the right.
The issue with this is when we move a story or bug (custom task types) to a status that's collapsed on the board, it only shows the number of tasks in it, which is easily missed. After running two sprints in Wrike, I've realized a really, really helpful feature would be to have the ability to auto-collapse empty columns and have them auto-expand back open when a task is moved to that status. So for example, our blocked status is called "Stuck". We rarely have stories/bugs that are Stuck, so I'd love to have that column collapsed all the time so the team can see more of the board. But if a story/bug is moved to that status, it's easily missed when it's collapsed because it only shows the number of tasks in it. So, example from this morning, I almost missed this during Standup:

I know not everyone would want this feature, so ideally, I would love to see an option nested under the "Columns" tab/filter to toggle auto-collapse/expand.
As always, thanks for your time and consideration!
Thank you, Daisy Hibbard, for taking the time to post this suggestion. We will post an update here if there are any developments regarding this feedback in the coming months.
