Wrike Form to fill

I'm looking for a way to bridge the form I've created to populate the provided data to a printable document that the receiver of the form information is still requiring. I haven't been able to convince the recipient that the workflow living in Wrike is reasonable, so the ultimate end product of the form needs to be a physical piece of paper that is signed in wet ink and delivered. I can do this with just a form-fillable .pdf, but I'm hoping to utilize the form to create an internal workflow for collecting the data from different sources and keeping track of where the process is.

To put it another way:

1) I need to deliver information, on paper, to a third party

2) The form needs to circle around internally collecting information required on the paper (hopefully using Wrike approvals?)

3) The form needs to be able to be partially filled out, passed to the next information custodian, filled out more, then passed along the route.

Hi Adam Sturdivant,
You can do points 1 and 2 with Wrike and with forms.
However, point 3 is not currently supported, or rather, you cannot use 2 forms to fill out the same object (task, project).

The only idea that came to me is to have a project that contains all the information to be printed (in the description).
For the process in point 2, use a blueprint consisting of tasks that have in the description the links of the forms to be filled out and what was filled out previously.

To have the complete description in one place, use Wrike Integrate to copy and paste (the descriptions, form fillings) from a task to the project.

A bit complicated but doable.

Pietro Poli - Is there a feature request to have multiple request forms fill out the same object? That's a feature that could be used in many different ways.

Thanks!

Adam Sturdivant - As Pietro said, using a template project initiated from a request form is probably the best option. The 1st person starts the request form, hopefully they can capture the majority of the info and the rest of the people have to manually type in their details in the task description. Each person could then approve the task when they've finished their sections.

Hi Mike Fank,
I don't know if there is yet a feature request, I know it can be very useful also for us.

So I've built out custom fields as a container for the form and have the form built to ingest the data, but I'm stuck on figuring out how to export the data into the vendor's fillable .pdf once it's all collected and the task is complete. Is that something Wrike can do?

Hey  Adam Sturdivant 👋

Currently, Wrike does not natively support exporting data directly into a fillable PDF format. A workaround that might help you is to export the data from Wrike into an Excel file and then manually transfer the data into a fillable PDF. I understand that this requires manual intervention.

If you would like, feel free to create a feedback suggestion post in our Product Feedback forum so users looking for the same functionality can upvote your post, and it will be forwarded to the responsible team as well.
