More date filters in new dashboard widgets
Hello again,
We feel as though there are some key date filters that are missing from new dashboards.
Current date filtering options include:
- Any date
- Custom time frame (but as a set time frame)
- Today
- This week
- This month
- Yesterday
- Last week
- Last month
- 7 days ahead
- 30 days ahead
Some date filtering options that we thought were missing and that can be extremely beneficial are:
- This year - anything in the current year (i.e. 2025)
- Last year - anything in the year prior (i.e. 2024)
- As of today - anything going forward from the day that you are looking at the widget on (i.e. Jan 23, 2025 and forward)
- As of this week - anything going forward from the start of the week that you are looking at the widget on (i.e. Jan 20, 2025 and forward)
- As of this month - anything going forward from the start of the month that you are looking at the widget on (i.e. Jan 1, 2025 and forward)
- As of a specific date - anything going forward from a day that you set
While there is a range of past, present, and future options already available, there are still some that can elevate the way that we use our dashboards, especially as this is a key tool that we use internally no matter the team to plan and share visibility of work.

Relative date ranges would be very helpful. In addition, my organization goes by fiscal year from July to June, it would be helpful to be able to look at those as well.

I agree with this. Our use case is we are looking at results based on tasks created or closed in the last X months (so if today is March 6, it would include December through February if said I wanted the last 3 months). Having the option to specify a number of months/weeks/days forward or backward would super helpful for us. Otherwise, we have to update the date range each month.
Really hoping that the new date filters they rolled out for Table view get added to dashboards 🤞🤞

I don't understand why the "on or before" and similar filtering options with dates that are available via Table view are not included in the dashboard filters. It makes them very inflexible and difficult to use in my view as it requires constant changing of the filter in the dashboard or the date field you are interested in
