Option for Due Date instead of Start Date In Recurrent Task Titles
Hello!
We are new to Wrike and in our Deployment Phase. I'm currently setting up folders for internal recurring meetings. I want the tasks to be created on the day of the previous meeting for the next one. Currently, we do this with Google Docs; we create a new doc for the next meeting so people can add what they need to review to the doc for the next meeting.
With the switchover to Wrike, I want to Create Action Items from our meeting notes we will have in the Task.
But right now the start date gets put in the title. For organizational purposes, in an instance like this, I would much rather have the Due Date (which, in this instance, I am making the day of the meeting) in the Title. This way the Title will include the day we met.
By doing this, I will be able to see all action items from our meetings in the meeting folder. If I want to see Action Items from a Particular meeting, there will be no confusion over which task to look in.
For now I have a one-day duration with 'Creat Upfront' set to 3. This works in this instance. But for recurring tasks with a longer duration, it would still make sense to me to have the option to put the Due Date in the tile instead of the Start Date.
I hope that I've explained this clearly for others to understand. Please let me know what you think.

I think you brought up a valid use case and more generally, I think your idea can even be expanded to just having more control over what gets put into the title of these recurrences. When I read your post, I just kept thinking about how in Request Forms we can choose which questions feed to the title - something similar would be neat for this feature! Hope to see some movement and more support on this idea :)
Anna Giacobbe Yes! Heaving a bit more functionality with the title of the recurring tasks would be amazing. Thanks for the upvote! :)
That’s a good suggestion, Tiffany! Thanks for taking the time to create such a detailed post along with explaining your use case. Anna Giacobbe, thank you for supporting this suggestion.
I will forward your feedback to the relevant Product team now. If there’s any update in the future, I’ll make sure to post it here 👍
