Link to a Project opens item view
Hi team,
We are undergoing a major change in the way our work is produced in our account by transforming parent task for deliverables into projects.
We mostly create these projects via request forms, so the request form information captured lives at the project level.
We often include links to the parent project in our blueprints so that when work is actually created, there's a direct link to the project so that no matter what team is working on the request, they can see all of the information and details that were filled upon form submission.
There has been a lot of confusion and frustration because linking to a project does not open the project in item view. If we are in List view, for example, it will go to the project's tasks; this the same in Table view. People aren't fully aware / do not yet have the habit to click on the Info button to view all the details.
It would be amazing if project links would open in item view to avoid this confusion.
I can't submit a screen recording, so please refer to the screenshots below instead.

Hey there, Anna Giacobbe!
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It definitely makes sense, especially in the case you shared, for links in the description to open directly in item view. This would help reduce confusion and streamline access to all the important details.
I'll be sure to pass your feedback on to the product team. Thanks again for your valuable input! 😊
