Organize sub-tasks by due date

When viewing (parent) task information (description, subitems, comment board) through the List View or Kanban Board View – please allow or default the sub-tasks to appear by due date. There's no way to organize them and it's hard to clearly see the timeline in this view (which is also what you're taken to via the task permalink).

Hey there Lauren Lowe! 🎉 Welcome to Wrike, and thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Organizing subtasks by due date is indeed important for maintaining clear timelines. Currently, List and Kanban views display the due dates of the parent tasks because subtasks are generally aligned with the parent task's timeline. However, if subtasks require individual due dates, it is often advisable to establish them as separate tasks with dependencies.

Alternatively, you might want to check out the Dashboard view. Setting up a widget for your active tasks, broken down by due date, can help provide more visibility into all the tasks and sub-tasks with their respective due dates.
