Automation rules & available fields for messages

For the automation and especially the messages to work much better, it would be really helpful if we could select more fields to be pulled into the messages. The available fields right now are quite limitied (status, assignee, due date etc etc) - it would be FANTASTIC if we could pull in our custom fields for these message, as then we could completely and properly customize the message.

Right now it's quite limited and it would give us much more freedom and provide lots more info if we could make use of custom fields.

Is this on the roadmap, or if not, is there a workaround for this?
