New Dashboards Chart Colors Consistent for each user
Right now,
the charts / reports you can include in the dashboard use default colors–meaning the highest amount is peach, 2nd highest is purple, 3rd indigo, 4th green etc., regardless of the asignee or whatever other filter you are using.
I want these colors to be consistent by USER for those charts that are filtered this way. Otherwise, it takes more processing time to discern who has the most projects vs who has the most tasks at a glance. So I want user A to always be color A, and user B to always be color B, regardless of their place in the data chart.
Please see images below that show the last 3 users on the lists as different colors between charts. H is blue in chart 1 and yellow in chart 2.

Hey Nicole, thank you for your feedback! It makes complete sense, but there are some complications with that. A typical account may have 100s of users, and when you break some metric by the assignee, you can see many of them. There are not that many distinct colors to differentiate between them, and that's why we assign colors from the largest slice to the smallest one, and it seems to be random. I agree with you that, in your case, it makes sense to have "sticky" colors for users because there are not too many of them.
In Wrike, it's possible to define colors for workflow statuses and custom field values that solve this problem. For charts, we use colors assigned to values. Unfortunately, it's not the case for users, but we'll think what we can do about it.

Hello Wrike team / product team,
I’d like to request the ability to assign fixed colors to specific dimension values (e.g. assignees) in column charts, so that whenever I filter or refresh the chart, those same dimension values always appear in the same color.
For example:
If “Alice” is always blue, “Bob” always green, and “Charlie” always red, those color assignments should persist no matter how the data is sorted, filtered or ranked.
Right now, it seems the chart colors are assigned dynamically by rank (highest = peach, 2nd = purple, etc.), which means the same user can show up in different colors in different charts or after filters. (As in the dashboard feedback post: “user A to always be color A, user B always color B”) as Vladimir explained.
I believe this would improve readability and consistency, especially for charts filtered by the same dimension (e.g. assignee, status, project). Is it possible to add this as a feature for column/bar charts?
I understand that mapping colors would be limited to a number of colors available. And if new results appear that have no mapped color they are grey or a random colour.
Thank you for considering!
