Blueprint Creation Placeholders
It would be great to have placeholders or tags in areas for Assignee for example. So when creating we could have a placeholder called !PM_Name then when creating from blueprint that be an option to replace with a person that is assigned to the project.
Another example would be paths to file locations. For example !Customer_Name/!Customer_Location/ProgramFolder/Documentation
Welcome to the forums Bryce Yokom, and thank you for sharing your ideas for blueprints! It would also be helpful if you could share your use case for these suggested features, like why you need them and how you see your team using them. That info will be useful for when our dedicated Product team reviews your feedback 🙂

For example if Lisa is the PM on the project and there are always tasks that are assigned to the PM when the blueprint is instantiated have a placeholder for the assignee for example '$PM'. When the Blueprint configuration box appears there would be a list of all the Placeholders $PM, $ScrumMaster, $ProductOwner that you can assign all the actual people to for the project. Where $PM is you would enter 'Lisa'. Could use this for other categories/field besides Assignee aswell. Could be customer fields aswell, maybe customer name or Workorder #. Just makes the blue print more flexible and can save time and mistakes.
Thank you, Bryce Yokom for the additional details 👍 We've passed your feedback on to our Product Team.
I second this idea!
