Ability to provide a Google Drive link as answer to questions on request form.
I need to be able to link to a Google Drive folder/document as a "file" for many projects. Currently, you can manually do this, but with request forms it only allows an actual file upload, and not just a link to a Google Drive folder/file.
I am not talking about needing a link in my request form question title or desscription. I am talking about answer a file upload question (or even a text field answer) with a link to a drive file. Writing a link in a text answer is not great, because it doesn't hyperlink. File upload is the most intuitive solution for that, but not currently an ability for Google Drive link.
Hello Kara Guertin, thank you for creating this post. If a user pastes a link to a Google Drive file in a text-type question, the link will be clickable in the task or project created upon the request submission.
+1 for this idea.
My use-case being my company uses Google Workspace and we have an internal Marketing request form with an option to attach files (ex: File to update, re-use artwork, or for inspiration). Being able to select the file directly from Drive (like how you can attach Drive files in a task) would prevent me from having to add another question to the form giving people an option to paste a link to the Drive file.
Thank you for adding your vote and for sharing your use case Daisy Hibbard!
