Angeheftet AngesagtHello, Community!

- Change assignee trigger - including Job roles ๐คฉ
- Change assignee action - yes, including Job roles and unassigning ๐
- Location changes trigger - maximum flexibility!
- Change location action - Upgraded and โRemove from specificโ added

๐ Change assignee trigger - including Job roles ๐คฉ
Among the Automation triggers, you will now find the option โChange assigneeโ, which allows you to set a rule based on any changes made to the assignee field. This includes the ability to trigger when: any changes are made, any users are added or removed, or specific users are added or removed.
Also, weโve gone one step further and included not only users but also job roles in the available options!
ย
๐ Change assignee action - yes, including Job roles and unassigning ๐
These improvements come along with a new set of options in our โChange assigneeโ automation action, which now allows you to change the assignees, add more assignees without modifying the existing ones, removing some of them or even all of them!ย
With these enhancements, you can, for example, remove all assignees when the status of your task is set to โCompletedโ, or you can automatically assign a task to a job role when a specific team should work on it.
We know many among you have been asking for the feature to unassign items, and we listened!ย
ย
๐ Location changes trigger - maximum flexibility!
The enhanced โChange locationโ trigger now allows you to select specific locations when configuring it.ย
The trigger includes the following options:ย
- โAnything changesโ, which means that by simply changing the location the rule will be activated;
-ย โAdded to a specific locationโ. You can use this option to, for example, automatically assign an item to a specific user when the item is included in a specific project or folder;
- โRemoved from specific locationsโ, which can be used when, for example, an item has been removed from your folder and you need to automatically change its status, or reassign it to a different user.
๐Change location action - Upgraded and โRemove from specificโ added
Believe it or not, this is not all! Among the automation actions, you will now also find all the possible options on how to adjust locations: automatically add an item to a specific location, remove from specific locations or move out item completely to a new location.
Previously, if you wanted to remove items from locations, the only option was to move items completely. With the new โRemove from specificโ option you can now preserve other locations and keep your work structures intact.ย
๐Duplicate automation rule
In addition to the new actions and triggers, we have also implemented the option to duplicate automation rules - a feature that many of you have been requesting!ย
This option is useful when you need to create similar rules, for example, when you want your rules to work for different Custom Item Types, or when you need to set up similar rules with different conditions or actions.
Are you excited about these improvements or have any questions? Please, let us know in the comments below!
Happy Wriking! ๐
Yes!!!
Good next step. Please continue with implementing automation. Please also allow automation rules to trigger further automation rules (not possible right now).
this is a major set of improvements. ย Thank You Wrike Team โ๏ธ @...
