Sharing task filtering presets
Some task filtering parameters (ex: custom fields) are specific to certain users, folders and/or groups but it would great for our team if we were able to share filter presets amongst certain groups.

Andrew Goddard In the New Wrike Experience, it's possible to create custom views and then copy and share permalinks for those views with others:
Please let me know if that helps 🙂

Hi Lisa and Elaine, in the new Wrike experience, s board view not an option if top your target folder has any subfolders?
Hi Andrew Goddard! If you click the three-dot menu in the board view and choose the option to show tasks from subfolders, you'll be able to see all tasks in the folder:
Hope this helps! 🙌

Allowing sharing of filters across user seems like a simple item that would be very beneficial. Why have filters only viewable for myself? Having to create separate views as well, on top of creating the filters, only creates inefficiencies. This continues to makes working in wrike take much longer than it needs to.
Hi Marie Doloc, thank you for your feedback, I've made the team aware of it. At the moment the only option is to create a custom view or save your filter settings as a filter preset so that you won't have to re-apply them one by one. Please let me know if you have any other questions🙋🏻♀️
Sharing custom filter pre-sets (like custom field filters) is really a necessity for large teams. Is this possible yet? Having to go to individual users one by one to recreate the same filter many times is really inefficient.
Hi Ben Grams, unfortunately, sharing is not available at the moment. I'll be sure to let you know if there are any changes👍🏼
We just created 4 custom views to use as tracking; issues/actions, risks, decisions, and project-project dependencies (all are set to Table view as default). We will be housing the tasks related to these views inside a "single" folder in our project blueprint - using a custom field on each task to tie the task to one of 4 custom view names mentioned above (we used a single folder and incorporated the CF so we would not have to create 4 folders - one for each task type). Each view uses its own set of custom fields. We need to be able to view the data in those custom fields (using the table view) when clicking on each of the above mentioned custom views. So far, the only way we have found to do that is by creating a custom filter pre-set for each custom view (4 pre-sets total). This works great! Now, from what I can see, the issue is how do we allow the members across our org to see (and utilize) those custom filter pre-sets? What are the options for addressing this? I can think of two - one not practical: 1). create separate folders vs using custom views (each folder with its own custom fields and each with its own set of tasks related to that folder) - this is do-able, but more folders in a project and not as clean looking as using custom views; 2). Provide instructions to every person in our org for them to take the necessary step to set up the 4 custom filter pre-sets (can you imagine having to ask all member in our Wrike org to do that?).
Thanks for the help!
Hey Michael Kelley! I've asked my colleague to reach out to you by email to see what they can suggest in your case 👍

This is something that should be available for Admins to add to all users' filter menus for sure.
Hi,
I am setting up a gant chart with 6 projects we run in parallel for the same client as he is asking for a project tracker but when I share it, the filters go back to what they were and he can't order them by date so the timelines are all over the place being organised. Please see screenshot below. First one is how I set it up and second one is what the client receive when I copy the permalink
