Open Copied Task in New Tab

When copying tasks I frequently want to open the new task immediately to edit it.  The behavior I would like would be to open the new task in a new tab.  This is similar to expected behavior in other programs.  It is abnormal to make a copy of a new thing and then just leave it.  I suspect most users do go to the copied task immediately after.

Here is suggested implementation (default would be checked, or controllable by user preferences)

This would save a lot of time and follows a more standard UX Pattern, i.e. in most platforms when you copy or clone something the new item that was copied/cloned is opened.

Within our organisation we use the duplicate task function a lot!

And we constantly accidentally start updating the old task rather than the new one

Also, if you have filters on and you don't copy everything over you regularly have to remove the filter, find the task that was created, update the task, add the filter back on and carry on - over a day or a week this accumulates a large amount of wasted time.

Also, I don't think that this would necessarily have to be a checkbox, it should just open the new task in a new tab - like Google Drive will automatically open the new file in a new tab.
