autosave comments to tasks
I just typed up a large set of instructions in a comment to my whole team when a Wrike notification came in. I clicked on the notification and the task I was working on closed, not saving my work. 45 minutes work vanished.
That is a significant flaw that ought to be fixed quickly. If I click on a Wrike notification it should not destroy my other work on a different task.
Hi Chris, thanks for sharing this one! You're right, Wrike doesn't cache the information you type in the comment box, but I understand how that could sometimes be a lifesaver. Thanks for sharing this here!
This would definitely be helpful!!
So did this ever get added as a feature? I'm assuming not, because a large paragraph I had typed in the comments was lost when a window got closed prior to "sending" it. Autosave is something that a software as such should have.
@Terrill Hi, thanks for reaching out here and sorry to hear you had this issue. For now I have no updates on plans to implement this suggestion. As a workaround, I'd suggest using task description for large paragraphs so they aren't lost accidentally - information in the description field is automatically and instantly saved. I understand this is not ideal, so please keep upvoting the original suggestion, we'll add one of the Product Feedback statuses to the post once it reaches 60 votes.
