Edit Existing Task with Zapier
Good morning. I have set up automations using Zapier, that help me create a NEW task in Wrike. It has been very helpful.
However, it would be even more beneficial if there was a way for me to use Zapier to automatically update an existing task.
Is there any way this can be accomplished?

Hi Hunter! There's no way to update task descriptions, but it is possible to set adding comments or time entries to existing tasks as actions triggered through Zapier. Could any of those help for your use case?

I think adding comments or time entries likely will accomplish that goal just as well.
Our team is very new to Wrike, so we are learning as we go. Its already made a huge positive impact for us. Looking forward to a more efficient team workflow!

This functionality needs to allow for any action to occur in Zapier upon a task edit in Wrike. As mentioned, currently Wrike only observes the creation of new tasks in Zapier, leaving out most of the important information we need in other applications.

This requested functionality is similar to Wrike's email notices that are already present:
When a task is updated, users associated with the task are given a clear outline of what changed (description, title, etc.) via an automatic email from Wrike so they have the new information available.
We would want this information on updates to appear in other systems, hence the need for this feature in Zapier.
