Dates in Table view

In "table view", the start date for Project is the same as the first Task start date, but in time line the Project start date can be earlier according to input for the project. How to get the Project start datet as the date in the "table" and not as the same date as the firsttask in the "table"

Hi Bjørn, the Table View and Timeline View look at Project duration a little differently. Currently, the Table View shows the Folder/Project's start and end date based on the start and end date of all tasks inside that item. While in the Timeline View, parent Project durations are displayed as you've entered them manually (if you've entered dates).
 
I understand this is something you might want to see changed so I'd recommend posting this suggestion to our Product Feedback section so other members can vote on it and our Product Team are made aware of it also.
