Multiple Choice Dropdowns in Request Forms
It'd be really great if there could be an option for dropdown menus to be multiple choice.
I currently have a few areas in the request forms where users can choose multiple responses to a question which is displayed using checkboxes, but there are so many options that it is quite messy and hard to read, or takes a lot of scrolling through to get to the next stages in the request form.
It would just be something to make the request forms cleaner when our tasks come in to us.
Thanks!
Hi Holly, thanks for sharing here! Just to help us understand how the scrolling/viewing process is affected here, could you please let me know approximately how many options the questions typically have, as well as how many questions you include in such Requests? Would love to get a better idea about how this works for you now!
Hi Anastasia,
Sorry for my late reply here!
We have 4 questions that have up to 35 options each (we ask the users to pick image sizes based on their requirements - and find it easier to have the sizes listed to prevent typos or mistakes and having to re-do work.)
Even if the check boxes were displayed in a scrollable menu rather than all in a list it would be better for us :)
Hi Holly, it sounds like the functionality itself is okay, but the UI could be improved for cases when you have a lot of potential response options. That definitely makes sense.
Thanks so much for the additional details, that helps as we pass this along to our Product team.
Thanks guys - do you think this is something that could be looked at in the near future?
Hey Holly!
Request forms are something our Product Team is discussing, though I have no concrete details to share right now. We have made them aware of the details of this request. If and when we have an update we'll let you know here 🙂👍
This would be helpful in building jobs by hand, as well. E.G. our marketing organization categorizes jobs by the audience we want to contact. sometimes they cross over/combine.

... would be much simpler than:
Alan ...
Alan/Brook ...
Alan/Brook/Evan ...
Brook/Darla ...
All ...
None ...
and so forth (32 total combinations).
