Wrike on iPad PRO
Hi,
I would highly appreciate to be able to use my iPad Pro without using the app.I need to use it on the website. How do I do? I am always forwarded to the app ...
Thanks,
Magnus

Hi Magnus, welcome to the Community! We are constantly working on updates for mobile as we're aware that many people want to use Wrike on the go.
Shawn posted a similar post on this asking for some advanced Mobile Features including a desktop option via a browser. Can you pop over there and vote for it so our Product Team can gain visibility and so the request is all in one place? Feel free to comment here to add more detail as needed. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Magnus, I actually did some testing here, and asked the Product Team and this should be working for you using Chrome or Safari on iPad. If it keeps opening the app, can you try using an incognito window in Chrome and let me know how you get on? Thanks!
Here are some instructions:
Google Chrome
Open Google Chrome and go to wrike.com.
Open a browser menu and select "Request desktop site".
Login to Wrike like you would on the desktop.
Safari
Open Safari and go to wrike.com.
Tap and hold the refresh symbol (located on the right side within Safari's current URL box).
Login to Wrike like you would on the desktop.
Hi,
Thanks for the answer.
Regarding Google Chrome. It didn´t work for any of the proposals ...
Regarding Safari it worked!
Thanks a lot!
Have a nice weekend!
Hi Stephen,
What about for Android pad? We can't open the Wrike web version in Android pad. Any solutions for that?
As you know that the manufactures are making the pad bigger and bigger now, many people are using pad instead of laptop.
We are also thinking to put a Android enabled TV on the wall to give all the team members live update of dash board.
To be honest, the app version Wrike really sucks.
Regards,
Leon
Hi Leon, I'm sorry to hear you're not happy with the Android App - we'll certainly be happy to pass on your feedback about it if you'd like to provide more detail about what you'd like to see more or less of there.
In terms of Android Pad, I'm not entirely sure which manufacturer you're using but requesting a 'desktop version' from most mobile browsers should provide a desktop-like view of Wrike as standard.
As for the Android-enabled TV, depending on the capabilities of the browsers on that device, you should be able to access Wrike.com and view your account. However, please note we don't fully support the use of Wrike in this way but I'm happy to discuss how we might use these devices further.
What Android Pad/tablet are you using?
What Android-enabled TV are you thinking of using?
Hi Stephen,
I am using Samsung galaxy TAB S3. When you login the account on Wrike with the Samsung’s default browser. It opens Chrome atutomatically, with the Chrome, even you request the desktop version. It just ask you to open the Wrike app. As the same result as Magnus got.
Hi Leon, you would need to uninstall the app for this to work. This workaround is not the recommended way of using Wrike on mobile so I understand uninstalling is not ideal but it may help.
Just a reminder that you're posting in the right place to suggest enhancements to how this works so this info will be passed to the relevant Product team and provides huge value to the internal discussions about updates in the future 🙌
Thanks for the suggestions all. I have an older iPad which (apparently) won't upgrade to iOS 10+ so the app doesn't let me log in for some reason. Got the web version working in Chrome incognito as per above instructions. :)
Stephen Orowe, that does not work at Samsung Note 8, neither S9+.
Even if the Wrike app is uninstalled, the Chrome browser, Dolphin browser with PC mode switched on is requestig mobile app...
Please add ability to use as desktop version on ipad - currently a large obstacle in usage and adoption given the limitations of the app.
Wrike Team,
W/R/T being able to utilize Wrike’s browser (complete toolbox) with my iPad vs just the Wrike-Lite App, I too am on board with my request- otherwise the potential value of a great resource is just another mediocre P/Mngt resource for iPad users unless I’ve sorely missed something- Did I ? Thanks...
Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to view your folders and projects menu on the left side of the ipad pro wrike app. We can't find that folder navigation anywhere
Hey everyone, apologies for the delay in response here. All of your feedback has been passed on to the Product team.
Brandon Blahnik, it is possible to view folders and projects on the left side of the app. If you press the blue caret button on the left hand side, and slide it to the right, it will reveal the menu on the left hand side of your iPad Pro.
Hope this helped! If you have any further questions / feedback, let me know.
The Safari and Chrome tips above no longer work on iPad. In both browsers, I'm able to log in, but I see a cropped version of my homepage, and no navigation. No sidebars, no top nav, no search bar, so there's no way to get to anything. Can this be fixed?
I have an older iPad and the last compatible version doesn't work. It lets me log in, but after that, I can't get past the spinning wheel.
Hi Lauren Merante, I see that you're already in touch with our Support team about this. Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.

Update re: my earlier comment above - I reached out to Support because I have an older iPad and the last compatible version doesn't work. It lets me log in, but after that, I can't get past the spinning wheel. The Safari and Chrome tips above no longer work on iPad. In both browsers, I'm able to log in, but I see a cropped version of my homepage, and no navigation. No sidebars, no top nav, no search bar, so there's no way to get to anything.
In case anyone else is in the same boat as me:
Per my Wrike Support contact, "our team currently has no plans of improving the web version behaviour on mobile devices (and Wrike's web version isn't optimised for mobile devices, and due to this limitation the experience is not smooth and bugs may occur)." Bummer.
However, I found a similar thread where someone said back in 2018 that you should be able to get onto the web browser version if you're using Microsoft Edge. Unfortunately my device is old enough that both the Wrike and Edge apps are not compatible, so I really need the web browser version to work, but maybe this could help someone else...
