Mobile Features

It would be much better if we could do administration tasks on a mobile device as well, such as adding someone to Wrike, etc. Also, the fact that we can't go on to a tablet, open Chrome and view a desktop version that way either is pretty upsetting... especially when the APP doesn't let us do advanced tasks to begin with.

Hi Shawn, a really important post here, thank you. We understand that more and more people want to use Wrike while on the move and we are constantly working to update the available features across all mobile platforms, including admin features. This feedback helps our Product Team understand the needs surrounding mobile and adds to the internal discussions. I have no concrete information to share at the moment, but I'll be sure to update you when we do, and I'd also suggest following our Release News.

It's also worth mentioning that you can invite new users at task level on mobile by assigning the task to an email address. I think this may come in useful for you and we've passed the other feedback to our Product team.

Note: I will change the title of this post to 'Mobile Features' to make it easier for other interested members to find.

Forcing me to the app - which can’t do 1/2 the stuff I need to do in Wrike is ridiculous. Just let me go to the web version - at least until I can do everything in the app. I can’t even share a folder in the app. I don’t care how lame the app is, as long as I can get to the web browser version, but blocking me from that in iOS is practically criminal.

I agree with Mark.  Is there any way to go to the web version on IPad Pro?  It forces me to the app, which I already have installed, but can’t do things that I need to do like change the status through the default workflow.  Or upload documents.  Please help.

I found a solution.

I had the same problem with iOS. I wanted to to access the board view but Wrike doesn’t have that in the iOS app, only Android. Bizarre.

To get the web browser in iOS or iPad Pro use Microsoft Edge as your browser.

Go to settings in the upper right and select “View desktop site”

You’ll now have access to all of Wrike’s features. This is the only iOS browser I’ve found to work. Hope it works for you too.

I'm with everyone else in this thread - would love to see web version fixed on mobile devices. Unfortunately I have an old enough iPad that both the Wrike and Microsoft Edge apps are not compatible with my device, so I need the web browser version to work, or else I can't use it at all. I spoke with someone at Wrike Support and they said "our team currently has no plans of improving the web version behaviour on mobile devices (and Wrike's web version isn't optimised for mobile devices, and due to this limitation the experience is not smooth and bugs may occur." Bummer.
