"My Work" View
Wish there was a way to prevent the view from automatically scrolling down to the "Completed" section after I mark something Complete. I would rather the task just go away and I keep my view of "Today's work"

Hi Catherine, thanks for posting this idea on the Community! This sounds interesting, I'd really like to hear a bit more about the way you use My Work. Does it function as a type of to-do list for checking items off as you complete them (without opening them), or after you've completed everything for the day? Looking forward to learning more about your workflow!
Hi, Anastasia! I mainly use My Work as a to-do list, as you say (sometimes with details in the description, oftentimes not). I check things off as I go, often many times throughout the day. This is not a big issue at all - more a nuisance - I but I was just wondering if there's currently a way to change that setting or if I'm missing something altogether. Thanks!
Catherine, thanks for following up! This is really helpful, I appreciate the additional info. :)
I was wondering if there is any way to view My Work on the left hand pane using only the upper most task and in the right hand pane be able to view the task selected from the left hand pane including any subtasks.
I'm not sure if I am explaining this correctly as I have only just starting using Wrike.
Hi Ian, welcome to Wrike! :) I'll be happy to help answer any questions about getting started, so definitely let me know if anything else comes up. As for viewing tasks in My Work, it's possible to do this in the Updated My Work, which can be enabled in Wrike Labs. To get the view you described, select any task on the left, and then see it displayed on the right side of the Workspace. If the task has subtasks, click the subtask icon to expand them:
Does this help?
I have used Asan for many years and one thing they did right was My Work or "My Tasks" as they call it. Wrike should do some research on their approach and reconsider what they are doing in my opinion. Wrike is a much better product overall, but "My Work" is a bit over the top and confusing. It needs to be simplified and clearer with perhaps filter options or something? I tend to just avoid this view all together in Wrike!
I wonder if there are any plans to change the way you can view your work area? At the moment, I find this rather messy. It would be useful if you could display this in other formats, like table, list etc (like you can do with folder/project view)?
Our team finds the table view really useful as is most tidy and also can include the extra fields. You can also change the order of display and filter items out.
