Is there a way to force google SSO instead of username/password?
Hi, we have a Professional account and would like to make access more secure. An Enterprise account would not make sense for us, so, unfortunately, we aren't able to use Wrike's SAML-based SSO or 2-Step Verification features. Does anyone know of a way to force google SSO instead of username/password?
Hi Jackie, thanks for reaching out on the Community! I noticed you already has a phone call with the Support team about this, but I wanted to post a summary of that discussion here in case it helps other Community members too. :)
It's possible to use Google SSO on any subscription level, however it isn't possible to force users to use it as the single method of signing in, the email and password method will still be available to them. We recommend setting up the G Suite integration and adopting a best practice within your organization to log in to Wrike (and any other apps) through Google. A good starting point is explaining the security benefits of this solution, as well as letting everyone know that this is the option your organization will be using from now on. Additionally, 2FA can be set up on the G Suite side, providing an even higher level of security. Finally, if a user's profile is initially created through G Suite, they won't have a Wrike password set up, so that will be the only way for them to log in.
