Used to be able to do this, now can only do this from "my work" section which makes it hopeless if you want to complete lots of tasks quickly in a single folder. My work isn't broken down into my folders.

Hi Andre, thank you for sharing your suggestion here! While bringing back "swipe to complete" isn't on our current roadmap, we have a new release right around the corner, which will bring several exciting enhancements to the app, including an option for easy completion of multiple tasks. Stay tuned! :)
Hi again Andre! I wanted to let you know that this week we released a completely new version of the Android app, and I think you'll appreciate some of the new functionality there. Now it's possible to select tasks and complete them in bulk by pressing the circle icons on their left, and then clicking the "Change status" icon at the top of the view. Happy to answer any questions about this! :)
