Add enhanced table / spreadsheet functions to tasks
I would love to see some more smart table functions in wrike.
i.e we are tracking expenses for a project in a separate task, this can be assigned to our invoicing department, when the task is finished.
With the information on external costs needed for this project and the timelog for the project everything is there to create the invoice.
What I'm missing is smarte table function, so we can do sum items, create dropdowns etc.
Not really an excel replacement but some mor functions then a naked table would be great
Hello again, Jörn! Thanks for sharing these suggestions. I wanted to point you to some existing posts related to your feedback, it would be great if you could add your vote to them, so we could easily track the popularity of requests in one place:
That said, I wanted to mention that our Product Team is internally discussing ways of improving the Table View functionality, so it's great learning about these requests. :)
This is also a critical function in business. I have tried to sum/auto sum after exporting to Excel and cannot make it work.
@Patricia, thank you for adding your vote and comment here!
Hi..would like to see also insert row/column functions and formatting option for the table data..this will help us to add/edit data easily..thanks..
I believe I may have left this comment in another section in the community board for enhancements, so I am adding it here as well.
As we are trying to keep our people working inside of Wrike, we spend too much time fumbling around to find the right spreadsheet or document. I would like to have the ability to use one of the features in Wrike to discuss our billing burn down at a very high level using the table feature in Wrike. It would be beneficial to be able to take advantage of the "formatting features" in the live collaborative area in Wrike to lightly format tables and to highlight specific columns, rows or cells. As this is the area where formatting features are available, I would expect the formatting would extend to tables.
Just adding my feedback, that a better table functionality would be great!
