Disable users, offboard users

We use Wrike extensively.  Now some employees have left the company and we are strugglich to deal with their old accounts in Wrike.

How can we "disable" a user?  The best we can to is to make that user into a "collaborator" but then they still appear in the list of users (e.g. in the timeline).

Anyone got a solution?  This seems crazy!

Thanks

Bruce

The workaround we use is this:

  • All our folder sharing is done via Wrike groups.
  • We have a Wrike group X without any permissions (nothing shared with it).
  • We implemented an automated periodic checker which compares AD (Active Directory) and Wrike users, using email addresses. In case a user is disabled in AD but is NOT in the Wrike group X, we get a warning. In case a user is enabled in AD and is in Wrike group X, we get a warning.
  • If a user leaves the company --> he/she gets disabled in AD --> we get a warning --> we reassign active tasks and delete the Wrike user.
  • If a user leaves temporarily (e.g. maternity leave) --> he/she gets disabled in AD --> we get a warning --> we remove him/her from all Wrike groups and add him/her to group X. We also reassign his/hers active tasks.

But, I agree - the feature for disabling users should not be an Enterprise-only feature.

I'm disappointed to hear that I cannot filter or sort by a deleted user... Please make this available soon!
