Easily View Daily Time Spent

I would like an easy way (report? dashboard?) to see how much time I (or one of my team) logged on a particular day, across all projects to the task level. For example, at the end of each day, I'd like to be able to see the time I logged for that day and what it was spent on. That way, for example, I could see if I only logged 6 hours for a day, and then I'd realize that I forgot to log something.

I don't believe there's a way to do this now, but it would be VERY helpful.

Hi Gary, thank you for posting this, and welcome to the Community! While there's no Dashboard or Report for viewing time tracked only on a particular day, it's possible to achieve this within the Timelog View itself. Here's how:

  1. Open the root of your account to ensure that tasks from all Folders and Projects are visible.
  2. Switch to the Timelog View.
  3. Open the Filters panel, select "Me" as the user filter, and "Today" as the timeframe.
  4. A breakdown of time tracked today is shown at the task level, per Folder and Project. Click on a column name to enable grouping by that field.
  5. The total time spent on all tasks is displayed at the bottom of the view, so you can easily ensure that all time for today was logged :)
