Outlook plugin for Office 365
Outlook plugin was quite nice with old office versions.
Now it is now more available .
So I'd like it back for Office 365 .
thanks

Hi David, thanks for leaving this request. I will make sure to direct people here as more people ask for the add-in.
yes i need to integrate office 365 calendar with wrike as well.
The Outlook integration was one of the reasons we chose Wrike over your many competitors. I would like to add my vote for bringing back the integration.
In the meantime, does anyone know offhand if Zapier has a zap for this? Thanks!
Hi Mary, thank you for adding your vote here! While there is no native integration with Outlook right now, there are two options I wanted to suggest:
I understand that your vote is for a native integration, but I wanted to provide some options which could help in the meantime. Thank you again for sharing your feedback here!
I fully support this request. Outlook is a tool probably used by many wrike user and as business user I would really expect a quick business solution here.
You are still explaining the add-ins on you page, but since many month nothing happens

Please bring back the outlook plug in, it's how I spend most of my time interacting with Wrike.
Hi Jörn and Sean, thank you for your comments here! @Jörn, I already posted a reply to this in another thread, but wanted to include it here too so other people could see it. Our Product Team is actively discussing the add-in internally, and while I don't have a timeframe to share, we're actively collecting and looking at the feedback you have about this functionality. It really helps us understand what you would hope to find in the new version, so thank you once again for weighing in on these requests!
I am very disappointed that you have dropped the outlook integration. This is a serious backward step in terms of productivity. I mainly interacted with wrike via outlook. To be honest i am now considering moving oour org to a different pm application that will allow me to do this.
We also choose Wrike because of the outlook integration! We need it back! Very soon! We are now searching for other pm tools!
Hi Benedikt, thank you for commenting here and for sharing your thoughts about this, we're always open to hearing your concerns and suggestions. While we can't momentarily release all requests, the Outlook Add-in is something we're already actively discussing, and our Product Managers are focusing on learning about your use cases and suggestions for this feature. I'd love to hear about the way you used the previous version, and about the enhancements you'd like to see in a future one!
Hi Anastasia,
it was such an easy way, to transform an E-Mail into a task. It was easy to explan to our older employees. Now they don`t like the E-Mail integration. For them it is too much "programming".
I hope there comes a office365 Add on soon! It would be so great, if Wrike and Office365 would work together in many more chapters!
Benedikt, thank you for getting back to me! I really appreciate your insight about this, it's really helpful to learn more about your use case for the functionality.
Hi Anastasia,
The single greatest feature of the Outlook integration was email consolidation: it automagically would group 10 emails about the same task together into one, and then clicking it would load the ACTUAL task right in the preview window. No more cluttered inbox, and no more having outlook + browser open to check on a task.
This was amazing and the MAIN reason we chose Wrike. Sad to say we didn't renew our subscription because it stopped working and was taken down. Still hanging around though because Wrike is awesome :)
Fingers crossed your team brings Outlook integration back!
We are using the trial of Wrike but if there is no integration to Outlook Calendar functions I do not think we can use this solution.
@Brett and @Ryan, thank you for adding your comments to the request! @Brett, that's some great info and it's really insightful, this will be useful for our Product Managers to know. @Ryan, I wanted to let you know that it's possible to add Wrike tasks to your Outlook Calendar with the help of iCal integration - is this what you were looking for? Happy to answer any questions about this!
Without Outlook plugin, I don't think I can use Wrike. Please bring back.
HUGE hole in the program, I'm trying to get a much larger group at my company on board with Wrike and this is one of the first questions asked.
I would love to see this brought back as well. This is one of the main things I look for, is the outlook integration. While I get you can use the email, keeping track of how to construct the email address isn't nearly as easy as simply clicking a button in Outlook, selecting the project and adding any additional information about the task. It's also much easier to trait new employees on how to add tasks this way then all the intricacies of the email integration.
The Outlook plugin made for a great workflow with updating and creating Wrike task. Though the new integration is functional it is not as user friendly as the outlook plugin was. I am using the present integration and understand how it works but how to use it is not as obvious as I think you guys believe it is for many people. We use custom fields for many task and were able to edit those custom field in outlook with the plugin. Now when I use the present integration I have to revisit the task in the browser to enter data into the custom fields. It was a one stop thing. This has disturbed efficient workflow.
Hi everyone, thanks for the additional details here. I wanted to let you know that the team is actively working on improving the experience within Outlook and your comments here are helpful as we plan.
I totally agree, i would also like the outlook integration again, as a program manager with over 50 projects at a time running through Wrike i am having trouble linking my milestones to my outlook meetings in order to book rooms with different groups. If i change a schedule i also have to go back into outlook and look for all the milestones and change the meetings manually. Integrating this in any way would be greatly helpful.
What is the status on Outlook integration? Is it still being discussed by product team or do you have a time frame for a solution? It is urgently needed. I got my team to work with Wrike and everyone is annoyed about the missing integration as. Wrike should be there to make life easier and not to create additional work. Thank you
I'd like to chime in again and second Ralf's comment. We have been paying for Wrike and not using it for about a year, all because of an integration we were told was coming back, and so far, we've seen nothing but promises. If it's not going to happen in the near term just say so, so we can all move along to a more functional solution.
You had the integration in the past. It can't be that hard to enable it again -- it is simply a matter of this not being a priority for Wrike.
Hello everyone, I have two great updates.
First: We're currently testing Wrike with Outlook Actionable Messages. Actionable messages let you take actions on Wrike tasks, from the email notification you receive about them. These aren't as powerful as a full add-in, but definitely a step in the right direction. Let me know if you'd like to participate in the beta program and we'll work on getting that set up for you.
Check compatibility here if you want to participate in the beta.
Second: The team is currently working on a new version of the Outlook Add-in. I still don't have an exact release date to share with you, but they're working on getting it ready. Here are a few details about the currently planned compatibility for the add-in:
You'll need either MS Exchange or Office 365 and Outlook 2013 or 2016 for Windows, Outlook 2016 for Mac, and/or Outlook.com
Would love to hear what you think, please let me know if you have any questions!
Hi Stephanie
As long as it won't corrupt my data, I would be happy to participate in the actionable messages beta.
I am using Office 2016 windows desktop version
Regards
Mark brantingham
Hi Mark, the beta can work with Office 2016 as long as you also have an active Microsoft Office 365 subscription. Do you have that? I'll create a ticket for you if you do so that our Support team can include you in the beta.
Hi - at the moment we are not using office 365 - I have an outlook.com account through whcih I use onedrive, onenote, etc but our work emails are not hosted in office 365 cloud they are pop accounts. Assuming this rules us out I will have to give it a miss
We are however transitioning to office 365 soon, so if that happens I will contact you again to see if this would be possible
Hi team, currently using office 365 and having many problems emailing tasks in to Wrike. Would love to be part of any trials here.
Hi everyone! @Mark, that's right, POP won't work with O365, but if anything comes up which could help we'll definitely let you know. @Tina, I'm sending your request over to the Support Team so they could help set this up for you. :)
